So, so sorry for the delayed response! I somehow never saw a notification about comments on this post! I have a different version of Cariboo and my doors do not have a hole in the middle, so I'm able to put Velcro in the middle of the doors. However, the prek teachers I work with have the version with the holes in the door, so I know which one you're talking about!

You may be able to put a small strip of Velcro on the tops of each "door" and each card– can't remember off the top of my head if there'd be enough room for that. If not, the cards I made are sized to fit exactly on the doors with the "lips" on the doors holding them in place.

Did you just not take the paper off the Velcro where the hole would be on the game? Or did you out something there so the Velcro didn't remain sticky/got random things stuck to the back of it?
